Hullo. It's been forever since the last update. Procrastination thrives in the presence of the approaching examinations and the mind fingers the tendency to wander far and wide. Meanwhile, I've got my hands on a new phone...unexpectedly. While on the move, the pretty filters on instagram keeps me entertained!

 (Taken with a friend's Panasonic Lumix.) Life seems to have been harbouring the spirit of a raging waterfall lately. It's murky assignments, hullabaloo projects, buzzing events, squeaky discussions, bouncy outings and a dash of a sparkly complication all thrown into the blender. Round and round they go, and with a little click, the lid of the blender flies and there everything goes, like a whirlwind in our lives. Yeah, sure. Life ain't all about rainbows and unicorns but this is getting ridiculous; life ain't all about darkened skies and monstrous mutations either. Promises made, promises broken. Well, promises are made to be broken. *hums* There's this little curious thing crawling around in my heart, like a chill down the spine. It's sticky, squishy, tingly, and it's slowly chomping down on my aorta and vena cava. What is it? Worry. It is never-ending worry. Labels: photography, ramblings, singapore

Huzzah! Guess who's gonna be overseas for a camp again? For some people, camps are like allergens and they stay far far away from them. For others, camps are like drugs, addictive and extremely high. Of course, camps are so much more enjoyable when you go with friends you can go crazy with but that's not the main purpose, is it? You make new friends, you make new memories, you go through new experiences. I've got one of those already; this would be my first ride on the KTM. It's just too bad I won't be bringing the still-unnamed fellow (my D5100) due to its size but my digital point-and-shoot will stay by my side...forever. Kwahaha. >D
P.S.: It's the holidays. This calls for a makeover, no? So apart from the little change pulled over here, should I get a dye or highlights...hmm, I wonder. Labels: photography, ramblings

Yum yum. Coffee from School of Coffee is just yum yum. I'm still trying to unravel my knack in photography, and as far as I know, I take decent landscape, people and food pictures. Yay! My computer is a cauldron full of landscape pictures, with some shots of people during the recent NTUC Kite Festival and peppered with a few snapshots of food/beverages. Mmhmm, I should take on some serious photography. I realised that I love capturing people into the frames! I absolutely love the satisfaction of being able to portray the emotions through such shots; they give photographs an emotion that is tenfold that of others, and I want to be able to do that. Holidays are here, no? Time to get things done, be on schedule and amidst the hustle and bustle, go on a photography trip soon. Labels: photography, ramblings, singapore

A very wonderful morning/afternoon/evening/night to all of you all there! Yippee. I have been liberated and released from the cages (also known as examinations).
If anybody is reading out there, do help me by clicking on the following links and liking the pictures! It's for a photography competition. Thank you so much! :D

title: The want to just crash and burn.
date: Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 3:26 AM
하쿠나마타타; what a wonderful phrase.
It means no worries for the rest of your days.
Oh, how I wish life were as simple as it sounds. The severe lack of updates only mean that right now, the impending exams are leering at me with their ugly, demonic faces. Before, there were about a truckload of assignment/project deadlines and important tests/exams to tackle. I sincerely apologize for the lack of colours and pretty pictures here though; it's starting to get on my nerves, always seeing pumpkins saying hello every single time I check back to the place.
On a slightly heavier note, my days seem to pass with me feeling so tired I can barely lift a finger, let alone study for the impending papers. Sometimes, I just feel like tucking myself snug into a comfy seat, and let the sweet smell of leather wrap around me, while I wait for the right moment to crash and burn. To feel the adrenaline rush at the deafening sounds, and the feel the fire licking at my wounds while I myself get blasted into smithereens from the following explosion. Kaboom. Bits of burning flesh and splatters of blood flung across the street. Burning scraps of paper with bits of pathological names and pharmacological chemical names will fly high into the sky, and create an ashen canvas on the street. Bits of embers will glow and the wind will carry them towards others, making them scurry away, eyes averted. Nobody wants to be the witness of this gruesome accident, no? To witness it all will mean being hauled into the station, only to be grilled and fried with intense questions, and killing your brain cells trying to pick out all the itsy bitsy details hidden all over the brain. That's why, no living soul will probably bother, except the people who would have to clean the horrifying and gory mess up, rotten pieces of flesh and all.
How graphic. I must be depraved. I know what you're thinking; no, I am no problematic kiddo. I just have a very active and very detailed imagination. Proud of it, in fact.

The view is so pretty at night, isn't it? I miss kite-flying...and making kites. Definitely need to meet up with the Eli and Kibum to my Kevin soon, so that we can use giant pieces of paper to make a proper kite and fly it. Either that or have a potluck picnic on the luscious grass and under the clear sky with the Sullens. I need to stop dreaming, stop dreaming, stop dreaming. The workload is getting larger and larger, like a little snowball tumbling down the mountains and gradually increasing in size. It only stops when it hits, the impact greater than most and the damage more devastating than ever. Aha, I've got wandering thoughts and I'm rambling again. Ciao. For once, I have so much to say but I have nothing to say at all. Do I make sense? Of course I don't. I have resorted to talking to myself. Oh dear. I sound like a nutcase.
You know, even though I seem to have thrown myself straight into photography, I kind of miss writing. I am going to have to drown myself in English songs and a good book soon. I need inspiration. I feel like writing something...something dark, something grotesque, something I used to write but no longer do. I doubt I will be able to write as well though. All those creepy, twisted and wicked descriptions seem to no longer be a part of me anymore. Oh well, we shall see.

Yahoo~ I miss Korea. Aww. I was looking through all the photos in my computer and then, I found all those pretty pictures from back then in September 2010. Those precious days spent out in the autumn chill. I love the feeling of having ice-cream in the middle of the night, in the 6-degrees weather. I love the feeling of being swung up high into the sky on the Viking...the feeling of adrenaline rushing through your sinews and the feeling of your heart leaping out of your throat. I miss travelling... );
More to be uploaded soon, I hope!

Like I mentioned once, when you get your hands on a new camera, all your finger does is to press on the trigger again and again. It's like a natural reflex and it becomes a subconscious action. Well, I've yet to get to know every part of this camera but time will tell. Special thanks to my aunt and uncle for the camera! ^^ Labels: photography, ramblings, singapore

Lime. Just another sour fruit on the surface. Green and round with a streak of yellow sourness inside. An extraordinary fruit who loves snap-snapping away to capture moments frozen in frames, who loves nodding away to melodies playing through headphones, who loves running around under the sun.
